Guard Comfort Admiral Security encourages its clients and security guards to use anti-fatigue or dynamic ergonomic mats for posts that require standing for long periods of time. The purpose of these mats is to reduce fatigue and discomfort to the employee. Not all posts are suitable for placement of mats or require the use of mats. Clients must first approve the placement of mats. When such mats are provided, guards should stand on the mats when their job requires standing still. Additionally, in rare circumstances, there may be posts where seating is suitable and will not affect a security guard’s job performance. Should a client approve seating for such a post, Admiral Security will providing seating for those posts and encourages its guards to utilize such seating to minimize fatigue and discomfort.
